Winemaking
The grapes, picked at perfect maturity, are de-stemmed and lightly crushed. The maceration, which lasts between 15 days and 3 weeks, is done by controlling the temperatures. The draining is decided when the balance of the wine is achieved: nice fruit flavours wrapped into sweet tannins. The wine is then matured in oak barrels for 6 to 12 months.
Grape Varieties
Merlot and cabernet sauvignon
Tasting Notes
Premius Rouge has a lovely raspberry colour with purple shimmers, followed by a fine, powerful and fruity association of berry, strawberry and roasting (mocha, toasted bread). The maturity of the grape is emphasized by a lovely balance and a fresh red fruits touch. The wooded notes are perfectly melted, bringing complexity to the long finish, by grilled and toasted accents.
