Tasting notes
(to good-naturedly show off)

Premius Red is a beautiful raspberry colour with hints of crimson. It is refined and powerful on the nose, combining black fruit (blackberry, blueberry, black plum) with toasted notes (toasted bread, mocha). On the palate, the ripeness of the grapes is highlighted by beautiful balance and a fresh touch of soft fruit. The oaky notes are nicely blended in and add some complexity to the lingering finish with their toasted touches.
Serving suggestions

This wine makes a perfect aperitif or goes beautifully with red meat dishes and cheese platters.
Winemaking techniques

The grapes are harvested when perfectly ripe, destemmed (separating the grapes themselves from the green parts) and then gently crushed. Maceration lasts two to three weeks, and is carried out in different vats at controlled temperatures tailored to the particular grape variety. Once tasting shows that the flavours are balanced, the wine is run off. It is then matured in barrels for 6 to 12 months.
